Yes, Shannon, I went to my 10 year class reunion... I couldn't miss the chance to go mingle with some of my old buddies from High School, namely Mark - heck, especially Mark.
Mark always was a trip, I tell you! He's one of those guys who can make you laugh, no matter what! He and I were practically inseparable in high school... one of those things where if we weren't such good friends, we probably would have been dating deals. He and I were constantly out and about doing stuff, like ditching boring old small town Nashville, Arkansas for the bright lights of the big city of Texarkana... (Go figure, I moved here when I got married, and it ain't that big anymore...)
Anyway, enough of my trip down memory lane!!! Here's a photo from the big dinner - I'm in the 2nd row, wearing a white shirt and black cardigan with the goofy looking grin on my face. Hanging out over my right shoulder is Mark - the bald guy! :)
It was really good to see everyone, and the party afterwards was a blast - live rock band, and Mark and I drank beers until we were both a little tipsy. Kinda like the good ol' days... except that I had 3 kids waiting on me, and a husband who seemed rather amused at his wife!
